At GraphPath we believe that every enterprise, government institution or business entity that generates rich datasets via its interactions with customers, employees or supply chain partners (i.e. has a network of clients, visitors, IoT devices, etc.) must develop a proprietary Knowledge Graph in order to have a unified and comprehensive view of its business.
This is what is generally referred to as an “Enterprise Knowledge Graph”, and should include within it as much contextual information as possible in order to better understand how the organization, its customers, stakeholders, and the world itself, relate to each other. In practice, this is easier said than done given the technical complexities and budget required to build and maintain a large Knowledge Graph.
